All of the experiences on this page depart from the same place, a small, Maasai-owned camp in the heart of Lemek Conservancy, where the wildlife comes to you and the guides have known this land all their lives. The camp is your home for the duration. Everything else flows from there.
The guides behind every experience
Every experience at Mattikoko is led by Titimet (Moses) Nampaso or one of our Maasai guides, people who have known this landscape all their lives. Titimet holds Gold Standard certification from the Kenya Professional Safari Guides Association, one of just 22 guides in the country to do so.
Your base in Lemek Conservancy
Lemek is a 16,000-acre private conservancy within the Greater Maasai Mara ecosystem, owned and managed in partnership with the local Maasai community. Strictly limited vehicle numbers and a conservation-first approach make it one of the most exclusive and rewarding corners of the Mara.
